This is a visualization drawn up by eSnips‘ CEO Yael Elish of companies in the “Web 2.0″ world (what ever that means…) as they’re ranked by Alexa.com.

Of course, Alexa’s data limitations should be taken into consideration here. But nonetheless, this is a good bird’s eye view based on traffic data.

There are certainly some companies on here that I would have thought would live more towards the top than on the bottom. And some on top I’d never imagine to be that popular. Interesting.
